Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate is a fully competent security officer experienced in all aspects of the assignment and capable of independent and group functioning.

Description of Duties:
The Student Services Associate duties will include the administration of the student personnel related activities related to their Research Assistantship as Research Project Assistants (RPA), overseeing all stipends and benefits provided through sponsored funding administered by the Research Foundation of SUNY (RF). Currently, more than 100 CNSE students are engaged as RPAs and this number is expected to increase significantly. This position will support the CNSE educational paradigm which provides the opportunity for students to gain hands-on, unmatched experience working on state-of-the-art tools and equipment, in cleanrooms and laboratories that are without peer in the academic world, on research projects involving CNSE and its array of leading global corporate partners. This position is not intended to support the CNSE state-funded instructional and research functions.
Minimum Qualifications:

· A Bachelor's degree in educational or personnel administration, or related field from a college or university accredited by a USDOE or internationally recognized accrediting organization
· Proficiency with MS office suite
· 1-2 years experience in personnel administration.
· Familiarity with FERPA
· Demonstrated ability to project and handle matters with a highly professional and confidential demeanor
· Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and highly accurate manner in all verbal and written interactions
· Acute attention to detail
· Demonstrated excellent written and spoken communication skills to include clear, concise, and highly accurate delivery

Job Summary:
Senior Manager or Director for Pathfinding Research Engineering based in the Albany/Malta, NY region in support of semiconductor foundry technology. This job requires close interaction with internal GLOBALFOUNDRIES research and development teams. The goal of our pathfinding engineering team is to refine solutions from our research organization prior to delivering to our development team.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Formulate and execute plans for the Pathfinding phase of Research. This includes development and leadership of an organization that will be responsible for delivering n+1 technologies from a less mature research phase to a ‘ready-for-development’ maturity, in partnership with GLOBALFOUNDRIES internal research, development, and process module organizations.
- Technical Scope: includes research / early development related to full flow CMOS logic technology and advanced processes for front and back end of line, early test chip strategy & execution, process assumptions & design rules, and quality & reliability needs.
- Business Scope:
- Definition and execution of technology schedules and implementation plans- Interaction with internal & external customers.
– Driving technology maturity levels for transfer from internal and feasibility research to internal clients for development implementation.
Required Qualifications:
- A MS degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering, or Physics, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years experience in semiconductor research beyond the advanced degree
- Demonstrated ability to organize and lead global R&D teams, and transfer technologies to internal organizations for R&D implementations
- Broad knowledge of full flow technology development requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong familiarity with key semiconductor research consortia activities and leading semiconductor university research programs
- Experience in both advance semiconductor research and development activities
